Welcome to PRISM!

Hi! Brittany Byrd here, owner of PRISM Hair Salon in Richmond, Virginia. PRISM began in 2017 when I was a newer stylist in the Richmond area. I went independent and on my own in a suite, cultivating and developing the brand right from the ground up. I wanted to take everything I learned in my career up until that point and perfect it, but make it unique to the city. I loved using instagram to find ways of doing hair outside of the area, and that's when I took notice of the West Coast and how they do hair. I LOVE IT! It's so lived in, warm, and customized for each guest. I knew I wanted to bring that vibe to Richmond hair.

Fast forward to now, I own a full salon in the West End of Richmond, Virginia and am now the owner of a second location in Downtown
Richmond. My goal is to grow my team to teach them everything I've learned, while nurturing their love for hair and what they love to do
behind the chair and helping them reach their dreams and goals. I wanna help them all become busy, badass and the best hairstylists in Richmond, Virginia.
