Hi there! I’m Rachael Melchert. I was born and raised here in beautiful RVA. I am 29 years old and I have been in the hair industry for 6 years! Previously a preschool teacher, it didn’t take me long to realize I had a passion for everything hair. My favorite part about the hair industry is that there is always something new and exciting to learn about. Balayage and Blonding services are my jam, but I absolutely love a good chop!! When I’m not in the salon, I love to read, hangout with my husband, Xavier, and our chocolate lab, Bogart, and cuddle up on the couch and watch my favorite shows such as Sex and the City, Murder She Wrote and Little House on the Prairie. (I am an old soul, I know) Let’s make some hair magic together!! Can’t wait to see you in my chair!
